Introduction
This course has been designed to meet and exceed the requirements placed upon you, the employer, under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 thus providing you peace of mind that you have covered a very important topic.
Course Content
The course will provide a
➤ brief synopsis of the requirements of the RRFSO
➤ how a fire occurs and spreads
➤ hazards of smoke inhalation
➤ what to do if you discover a fire
➤ what to do if the fire alarm goes off
➤ what fire extinguishers do what and how to use them (theory only)
➤ the duties of employees for fire prevention.
We will, if feasible, carry out a demo Emergency Evacuation from the building with the candidates on the course
Who Is This Course Aimed At
All employees in the workplace.
Course Duration
This is a half day course which can be tailored to your needs and requirements. If you have specific extra requirements then the course may take longer.
Assessment and Award
The candidates will be assessed via a test at the end of the course and all successful candidates will be awarded certification showing that they have undertaken a basic fire safety course.
